Routes
Below are the most common routes.
However, how far you choose to go before returning back is totally up to you.
Cedarege Town Park Surf
Park Cedaredge Town Park Pavilion then surf by Pioneer Town, cross Hwy 65, and go two more blocks to Surface Creek Trail. Head South on trail as far as you'd like and return the way you came.
Golf Course Surf
We normally meet at the trailhead below the flagpole on the corner of Stonebridge and Independence. The course can vary depending on distrance and ice. But we kind of make a goat head by heading up the trail then heading down Stonebridge then back up and around. (See below)
Orchard City Park Surf
A nice little gravel trail that is .8. miles around. It is up to you how many laps you'd like to do. There is a great parking lot, bathrooms, an water in the summer.

Old Goat (from bottom) Surf
This course is beautiful but is a true butt-kicker. Most commonly we start at the top and run down and back up. There is no formal parking lot and no facilities. This is an old dirt road with little to no traffic but it is quite uneven in places and virtually un-passable after heavy rains.
Hart's Basin/ Fruit Grower's Res
This route is on a gravel road with little to no traffic. It is an out and back so the length is anywhere from 2-5 total miles. There is a nice parking lot but no facilities.
County Line Trailhead
County Line Trailhead is located on top of Grand Mesa where the weather is cool but the mosquitos can be boogers.
Enjoy an out-and-back hike or trail run along the one of the Grand Mesa Nordic trails. These tend to be rocky but the scenery is amazing so taking things slow isn't a bad thing.
Round Corral Surf
Meet at Round Corral Trailhead.
Enjoy an out-and-back hike or trail run along the easy to follow ATV trail to a lovely bridge over a creek. (2 miles to bridge)
